Jen Holland of Lyman Orchards GC won her first CT Women's Amateur championship Thursday, shooting a 4-over 76 that was good enough for a one-stroke victory over Isabelle Lendl. Holland lost the championship in 2002 after entering the final round with a six-stroke lead. She called Thursday's victory the highlight of her golf career. Finishing third was Morgan Stepanek of Pine Orchard Y&CC, four shots behind Holland.
